Food designed for performance and longevity
GEEK exists to raise the standard for performance food. Our approach is informed by both modern nutritional evidence and long-standing dietary patterns associated with longevity, including the Mediterranean diet and the world’s Blue Zones. We apply these principles across fresh meals and functional everyday foods.
We don’t use shortcuts or cheap fillers, choosing instead to make plant-based food that supports steady energy, mental focus and long-term health. Food that tastes genuinely good, so you’ll want to eat it every day.
GEEK's 5 Pillars of Performance Food
The 5 Pillars of Performance Food deliver nutrient-dense, macro-balanced, plant-sourced nutrition—with no cheap fillers—designed for steady energy, easy digestion and natural satiation, supporting physical and cognitive performance.
1. Nutrient Density - Ingredients selected for micronutrients, antioxidants, fibre and polyphenols, all from plant-only sources. No cheap fillers, empty calories or unnecessary additives — every ingredient earns its place.
2. Macronutrient Balance - The right balance of slow-release carbohydrates, high-quality plant-sourced protein and healthy fats to support both physical and cognitive performance.
3. Metabolic Stability - Steady, slow-release energy from low-GI carbohydrates. No spikes, no crashes — just smooth, consistent energy across the day.
4. Gut & Inflammation Control - Designed for easy digestion: microbiome-friendly, low-inflammatory and gluten-free, with no bloating. Cooking processes minimise AGEs and preserve nutrient integrity.
5. Satiation & Craving Elimination - Good food should taste good. High fibre, protein and healthy fats create natural fullness, reducing hunger and removing the need to snack.
Food patterns linked to longevity
Across the world’s Blue Zones — regions where people consistently live long, healthy lives — and throughout traditional Mediterranean diets, certain patterns appear again and again. Not fads or rules, but ways of eating that are simple, repeatable, and sustained over decades.
These patterns prioritise plant-forward meals, whole ingredients, healthy fats, fibre, and steady energy rather than spikes. Food is eaten daily, enjoyed socially, and integrated into life — not treated as a short-term intervention.
At GEEK, we don’t try to replicate any one diet. Instead, we take these well-observed principles and apply them deliberately: plant-based food, made from exceptional ingredients, designed to support metabolic health, energy, and long-term resilience.
The result is food that fits into modern life while remaining grounded in what has supported human longevity for generations.
The difference is in the standards
Most food systems are built to scale. That usually means a small number of hero ingredients, padded out with cheaper fillers, flavourings, or highly processed bases to hit price points and shelf life targets.
Functional foods are often treated the same way — formulated to meet a label claim, but rarely tested or scrutinised beyond what’s required. Ingredient quality, sourcing, and contaminants are not always prioritised.
GEEK takes a different approach. We start with standards rather than shortcuts. That means fewer products, higher-quality ingredients, and a willingness to test, question, and reject anything that doesn’t meet our bar.
It’s a more exacting way to make food — and it’s what it takes to genuinely support performance and longevity.

Acknowledgements
GEEK exists because of the work and thinking of many people who came before us. I’m conscious every day that we’re standing on the shoulders of giants.
The Blue Zones, with all their imperfections, have been a constant source of inspiration — not as a prescriptive model, but as directional guidance for what long, healthy lives can look like when food and daily habits are aligned.
I’m grateful to Bryan Johnson for being an uncompromising, sometimes controversial, but undeniably influential force in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in human health. Rich Roll’s work in endurance, recovery, and plant-based living has also shaped my thinking in meaningful ways.
I’ve learned enormously from the longevity work of Dr Oliver Zolman. And to Dr Avi Roy, Dr Antonia Schultze-Mosgau, Dr Ash Bhandari, Simon Wisdom, Gautam Shah, Olga Hamilton, Petya Kamburova — and the many others who’ve nudged, challenged, and encouraged me along the way — thank you. Your insight, generosity, and encouragement have helped bring GEEK into the world.
